Each piece is hand-painted, with every color applied 3-4 times to achieve the strong, opaque colors.  they are bisque fired in the kiln, glazed in a handmade-lead-free glaze, and fired a second time to 1946 degrees. Each item is personalized with your pet‘s name!

No two pieces are exactly alike, so your urn will be similar to, but not exactly like, the examples we’ve shown here on our website. There are always minor variations in color and design from piece to piece, these variations are the hallmark of fine hand-painted pottery.

MEET THE ARTIST...Alyson Whitney

Since I was a girl, I've always created one-of-a-kind pieces of art. I recall handing back a colouring book to my Mom and asking for blank paper and crayons. I wanted to create my own pictures, not colour someone else's.

So began my artistic and creative love of hand-painting fine pottery while studying art in Florence, Italy. I've never stopped living my dreams of being a designer of some of the world's most unique pottery. Each piece is hand-painted with magnificent colours which are applied 3 to 4 times to achieve the strong, opaque colours that create my signature look.
